Fortunately, this is not the idea of producer Mattel or a concept straight from the Vatican. World-famous dolls for saints of various religions have converted two Argentinean artists into a controversial exhibition.
A few days ago Pool Paolini and Marianela Perelli boasted on Facebook these projects. They are to be part of the exhibits at the "Barbie-Plastic Religion" exhibition. Next to them are to be dolls stylized as Jesus, Hindu deities, Moses, Buddha, and Muhammad. For example, Ken was cast as Jesus on the cross.
The exhibition will open on October 11 in Buenos Aires and is to be "a protest against the world that makes us all think, feel and act according to one template."
What do you think about it?
